Here was the line up for 2017...   We will advise the 2018 entertainment soon!

Five O'Clock Shadow

"Five O'Clock Shadow" is a highly regarded covers band from the Bay of Plenty, who have built a great reputation throughout the North Island for a fantastic, entertaining live show that's a real favourite at festivals, weddings and events.  They were a finalist in the 2015 NZ wedding industry awards for most outstanding entertainment.

The band specialises in getting both young and old up on their feet to dance and sing along with crowd-pleasing party classics and current hit songs.

Noise Control

Guitar and drums duo ‘Noise Control’ of Tauranga Moana are set to make A Taste of Matarangi sing and dance all afternoon.

Drummer Nick Ririnui says “I can’t wait for Peter Ormsby (guitar) and myself to come and share our love for music with all the people at the festival, it’s going to be a blast”.

The band, which formed earlier this year, is made up of five Tairua locals.  James Malcolm (aka Jimmy) on lead guitar and vocals, Glen McDowell on bass, Kelsie Lovell on drums, Adam Fuller on lead guitar are joined by their newest member Alya Jade on vocals, who adds an extra flavour to their sound.  (Alya performed as a solo act at the 2014 A Taste of Matarangi festival)

Cosha describes their music as classic rock with a funk infusion "We like to think we're not like your usual covers band, we search to play epic tunes for not only our ears but for the public".

Wilde & Rich

"Acoustic duo with attitude"  This is how Jesse Wilde and Ian Rich describe their acoustic stage experience.

The wide range of musical influences on the duo has created a well rounded sound with a large and diverse repertoire.  The Wilde & Rich duo really know how to entertain, and will be turning out ambient sounds of foot stomping rock, blues, country and folk.
